Garcon No. 1 - "Nitelife Music"

We’re excited to premiere the music video for “Nitelife Music” by Brooklyn experimental pop artist Garcon No. 1. The song is the title track from the project’s forthcoming EP, which is set for release on July 23rd via Spirit Lust. 

Carson Walsh, the artist behind the project, takes listeners on a ride through the twists and turns of a sweaty summer night in New York City on “Nitelife Music.” The rhythm slinks along with flourishes of eclectic percussion, including xylophone, bongos, and more. Walsh adds light guitars to further bolster the song’s twilight mood, letting the stripped-down, but vibrant nature of the track set the scene. 

The video, which was shot by Dalton Patton, follows Walsh and a companion as they traverse through the dark streets of Bed-Stuy. The video interweaves shots of a cat nestled next to a keyboard, Walsh and his friend sitting inside of a bar, and various storefronts.
