Cell Laboratories Announces DAGGERS, The Debut Release From Baltimore's EU1OGY

Today, Brooklyn’s Cell Laboratories is announcing the release of EU1OGY's first full-length, DAGGERS. The album will be released digitally this spring and pre-orders for a limited edition vinyl pressing of the record are available now.

We’ve been following EU1OGY for the last few years, and without question, his unique hybrid style leaves a lasting impression on listeners. The Baltimore-based artist has a fierce, unforgettable delivery, and his songs are dark and driving, combining sinister-sounding guitars, guttural trap beats, and visceral, atmospheric synth textures. If you’re unfamiliar with his work, we recommend checking out his two latest singles, “HOT BOY” and “SNAKES.” Both tracks will appear on the record, along with the previously released “WAGON V. 2,” a song that perfectly showcases his signature growl. In speaking about the album, EU1OGY shared some insight into his vision for the record, and what inspired its creation:

This album sums up my life entirely. Everything I shared on this project is real, none of the lyrics are fabricated. I went from being down bad to now having everything I’ve ever wanted, and I’ve worked hard for it—no handouts. Making this album was a long process but I didn’t have any expectations besides wanting to put something out that was different, yet familiar, all while staying true to myself and the overall vision. I wanted to show the world how I’ve been inspired by all the music and art I’ve crossed throughout my life, and how it’s influenced me, but with my own twist.

In his short career, EU1OGY has already received a significant amount of attention and critical praise. He was named one of Alternative Press’s ‘100 Artists You Need To Know’ in 2021. He has been written up in Revolver Magazine, Discovered Magazine, and No Echo. His song “WAGON” was featured in the launch campaign for streetwear Supreme’s collaboration with Cressi. He has been co-signed by Joel and Benji Madden of triple platinum punk legends Good Charlotte. He has even created a festival in Baltimore called Future Fest, which he sees as a way to “unify and showcase people who love music in Baltimore.”
