Favorite Friend Records Announces Track List For Save Our Wicked Lady Benefit Compilation
Today, Favorite Friend Records is announcing the final tracklist for their first-ever compilation release, Favorite Friend Records Presents: Save Our Wicked Lady. The 10-song album will feature contributions from some of Brooklyn’s finest musical acts, including Safer, Sharkmuffin, Smock, Thick, HNRY FLWR, 95 Bulls, Atlas Engine, Max Pain & The Groovies, Groupie, The Bobby Lees, and more.
All proceeds from vinyl and digital sales of the compilation will directly benefit Bushwick venue Our Wicked Lady, as they fight to stay open in the face of unprecedented challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since opening in 2015, Our Wicked Lady has remained a staple in the Brooklyn music and art community by regularly playing host to a wide variety of events, ranging from stand-up comedy to live music and everything in between. Their support has been integral to maintaining a thriving creative scene in Bushwick, and now, they need our help. Here at Favorite Friend Records, we can’t imagine our community without Our Wicked Lady in it, so our purpose in releasing this compilation is to help them stay open for years to come.
Formed in mid-2020, Favorite Friend Records is owned and operated by Tom Gallo and Nick Lafalce. In November of 2020, they shared their first-ever release, Living In Fear, the debut full-length Jersey City's CR and the Nones. In February, they announced the signing of Brooklyn’s Hanford Reach for their debut full-length, After Image, which is set for release in late May.
